WWW Wednesdays #4

This post is a bit out of the box for me since I know that if I don’t pre-blog, I will panic; however, in the last weeks, I enjoyed WWW Wednesday so much that I’m doing it again. Sam is currently hosting WWW Wednesday from Taking On A World of Words.

The Three Ws are:

What are you currently reading?

What did you recently finish reading?

What do you think you’ll read next?

What are you currently reading?

The best way I can discuss it is Amish turned fantasy.

Goodreads Blurb:

Trapped in a dark cult, sixteen-year-old Naomi Aren has lived a quiet, albeit unhappy, life nestled deep in the hills of the Ozarks. With uncut hair, denim skirts, and only roses for friends, Naomi seldom questions why her life is different from other kids at school. Until the day her abusive father, who is also the cult’s leader, announces her wedding. Naomi must marry Dwayne Yerdin, a bully who reeks of sweat and manure and is the only one person who scares her worse than her father.

Then she meets Kai, the mysterious boy who brings her exotic new roses and stolen midnight kisses. Kisses that bring her a supernatural strength she never knew she had. As the big day approaches, Naomi unearths more secrets of about her father’s cult. She learns she has power of her own and while Kai may have awakened that power, Naomi must find a way to use it to escape Dwayne and her father—without destroying herself.

What did you recently finish reading?

I liked it to the point that I stayed up all night to finish it.

Goodreads Blurb:

I might end up in jail for sticking this man’s head under a fur-fluffer before the day is out.
I thought things were moving along well with my job as a groomer of naughty puppies at the Dog’s Paw Dog Spa. I can handle the most troublesome of four-legged furballs, so it can’t be much harder to manage the male species of the two-legged variety, right?

Wrong.

Sure, things were a bit stressful with the upcoming entry exam for vet school, and my aunt who raised me hasn’t been doing well, but all of that was nothing compared to now.

Inspector Buckley waltzes into the Dog’s Paw Dog Spa and turns everything upside down.

If there ever was the perfect example of an arrogant, cocky, selfish hunk of man, it’s Inspector Buckley. He’s here to shut down the spa, and I’ve got to stop him.

But then again, there’s something stirring under that tough exterior, if only he would let it show a little more…

And if he does, what then?

Hate to Love the Inspector and the puppy antics of the Dog’s Paw Dog Spa will have you giggling and swooning. Because puppy love and puppies are one of the world’s greatest combinations!

Enjoy this happy ending with a dose of furball madness.

What do you think you’ll read next?

It looks like it is centre around, which is something I look forward to.

Goodreads Blurb:

Lies destroyed their past—will the truth end their chance at a future?

Sara Jamison has no clue where Mike Andrews’ been all these years, but she knows where she’s been—busy raising their son. Two weeks after he accused her of cheating and disappeared from her life, Sara discovered she was something she never expected to be–an unwed pregnant teenager.

But with the love and support of her annoyingly alpha-male family, she’s managed to make a good life for herself and her young son. She even owns her own business, Sara’s Bakery, which she’s built into a thriving success. Sure, she works too hard and her social life is nonexistent, but for the most part, she’s content.

Until the day Detective Mike Andrews walks into her bakery and back into her life…
