In my childhood
Most weekends, I would go
To stay with my aunt and uncle
And they would bring out
This oven thing
And we would cook
Toast on the fire
And no, it didn’t taste great
Since the bread was bitter burnt
But what kept it in my memories
Were the stories
They told me
Alex
This is heartwarming, Alex 💜
