Morality is an unchanging precept and does not necessarily adapt to changes in the sociological construct that is popular at any given time. Some attempts to make morality fit the prevailing sociological construct do little more than lead that social order closer to the ultimate downfall experienced by once great social entities such as the Ancient Greek and Roman empires.
