I know that tags aren’t everyone’s cup of tea, so I try not to do many of them. Having said that, I like them, so I do them occasionally. I saw this one on A Little But A Lot, but I’m not sure if they are the creator.
LEMONADE: PICK A BOOK THAT STARTED OFF BITTER BUT THEN GOT BETTER
It was slow to start with, but then it was interesting. If you like the sister trope, this is for you. Be aware that it is a chunky one.
GOLDEN SUN: PICK A BOOK THAT MADE YOU SMILE BEYOND COMPARE
Yinka’s family are a funny bunch.
TROPICAL FLOWERS: PICK A BOOK SET IN A DIFFERENT COUNTRY
I can pretty much choose any novel I want since just a handful of books are set in Malta, and I picked the town of Shortcake.
TREE SHADE: PICK A BOOK WHERE A MYSTERIOUS OR SHADY CHARACTER IS INTRODUCED
By now, I know for sure that I will like any book in the Washington Poe series.
BEACH SAND: PICK A BOOK THAT WAS GRAINY AND THE PLOT BARELY DEVELOPED
As I said in my reading blog, this one was a miss for me.
GREEN GRASS: PICK A CHARACTER(S) THAT WAS FULL OF LIFE, MAKING YOU SMILE
Chloe Brown makes me smile because, on sick days, she keeps going.
WATERMELON: PICK A BOOK THAT HAD SOME JUICY SECRETS
A 2022 release that has been doing the rounds, and rightly so because it is excellent. Contemporary with a dash of mystery and thrills.
SUN HAT: PICK A BOOK WITH A VAST, BIG UNIVERSE/SETTING
Tilly jumps from one fairytale to another.
BBQ: PICK A BOOK IN WHICH A CHARACTER WAS PORTRAYED AS A HUNK
I’m not too fond of Dean as a character; he and I just didn’t click.
SUMMER FUN: PASS THE TAG ON
I’m tagging Whispering Stories, and I hope they have a blast as much as I did.
