LGBT+ Books Read Part 1

Happy Pride, even if, for me, it is not Pride quite yet, and I think Malta is the only country that celebrates Pride in September. According to a study among the 49 countries that participated, Malta came first in LGBT+ rights. In the meantime, another study took place here, and I took part in this one, and it was about queer people who are Gozitan or people in the LGBT+ community who live there. The results left a lot to be desired, which isn’t surprising to me.

It won’t be my post if I don’t go out of what I had planned my post to be. So, let’s go back on track and talk about the books. Every year, I make a goal to read at least 100 novels that have LGBT+ characters or are LGBT+ themed. So far this year, I read 114 books, and now I can do another goal of 200. However, before I did that, I thought it would be cool to see how I rated everything I had read so far.

Yay, finally, I’m nearly ready with this post. On average, a post takes me a few hours from start to finish; this one took me three days. Me being stubborn, I kept going at it. My blog stats from last month and this month aren’t looking that great, resulting in even more self-doubt. Something that surprised me was how many books I gave four stars.
