Why Alaska Marine Life So Happy
Some Series I Have Been Watching
Off The Topic Thursdays/ For A Better Life

I have many thoughts about this month, but I don’t know to start. A sort of series I created is a weekly reading thing. I suck at reviewing books, but it’s easier for me if I view it as sharing some thoughts and my opinions on what I read that week. Doing a super structured blog was causing me some stress. So I simply posted whatever I was in the mood for with my fingers crossed that whoever would read it would still enjoy it.
I was about to get pissed at myself for having just read about 50 books this month. Then I took a minute to realise that, for one, I had read half of my yearly reading goal since right now, my goal is set at 100. Two, my emotions were all over the place, being that it was my birthday and five years since I started transitioning. Taking all this into account, I did pretty well reading-wise. However, I still need to update my excel sheet to know how many pages I read.
Finally, this week we got the go-ahead to go see the place we should be moving in during the upcoming weeks. Sadly, the lift isn’t ready, yet so I couldn’t go in, but my family took photos, so I saw it too. They measured the doors, and my chair fits everywhere, which was my biggest fear. I hope it’s a sign that things are getting better. Plans for next month are to take part in Readathin as much as I can and write 28 poems. Yes, I’m doing Poetry Month. Alex
That’s an amazing amount of books that you have read! I usually read about 8 in a month, but instead of setting number goals I set genre ones. I have to admit that sometimes I even fail in that, but there is always next month 🙂 fingers crossed for things getting better for you 🙂

That’s an amazing reading month! I read The Kindred too but sadly didn’t enjoy it. I DNF’d The Bone Spindle and I meant to read What If It’s Us and Here’s To Us but didn’t get round to it! It was a surprisingly busy month for me.
