Okay, why do I keep doing this? I promise I usually keep to my plans but not this month, it looks like. I sat down to write my yearly wrap up then decided last minute to participate in Newyearsathon, which starts at midnight of the 1st, which means in a few hours, so I need to post this right now and talk about my life in the past year tomorrow.
What is Newyearsathon?
The hosts are Momsbookcollection and Mandathebibleo, the same people who host readathin. The dates are from the 1st to the 7th. Reading Donna’s post says that there will be some twitter reading sprints and the hushtag they are using is #newyearsathon22; you can check out the Twitter page here. This year they also came up with Instagram prompts. I will put the prompts below, but you can check the Instagram page here.
Prompts:

My TBR

For a book you didn’t get to in 2021, I picked Christmas and Other Things I Hate (Things I Hate #1) by Elizabeth McGivern. One of the books I shared with you on Christmas day.

Since yours truly read all the four books I was gifted with, I chose Written in the Stars by Alexandria Bellefleur, which is book one in the Written in the Stars series. All I know about it is that it’s queer and contemporary, and I’m hoping to like it because Count Your Lucky Stars, which is the third book in the series, comes out next February.
When it comes to bookish resolutions, I already wrote a whole post about you can check out here.

I think this might be the last post of 2021, so I want to wish everyone the best for 2022.

Happy New Year. Good luck with your move and with the read-a-thon.
