Top Ten Tuesday/ Books On An Island

Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by thatartsyreadergirl with a new topic every week.

July 27: Books I’d Want With Me While Stranded On a Deserted Island

I guess being on an island, I will need books that will help me during hard times, keep pushing and do the best I can. I found that keeping my mind in a positive view can help you overcome a lot. Hopefully, when you overcome whatever it might be, you realize how strong you are.

Fly a Little Higher

Zach fought to live life until the very end and left this world with the gift of his words.

Reaching for Sun

A lot of work still needs to be done for kids like Josie.

Heaven is for Real: A Little Boy's Astounding Story of His Trip to Heaven and Back

More than the religious aspect of it, this book reminds me of family.

Royally Crushed (Crazy Royal Love, #1)

They did some things while in the jungle that could be useful on a deserted island.

The Boy Who Harnessed the Wind: Creating Currents of Electricity and Hope

The Boy Who Harnessed the Wind reminds me to go back to my roots because it’s what makes me who I am.

A Long Way Home

Remember, there is always someone that has your back!

A Dog's Way Home

Everyone has a place they call home, no matter where that might be or with who.

Hunger: A Memoir of (My) Body

Self-love is something so powerful that it can get you through anything and everything.

Beauty Queens

The girls did some stuff that can help me on a deserted island.

Laughing at My Nightmare

Shane is a prime example of never giving up.

As a whole, I think these ten are great reads for one reason or another.

  1. Great picks! 🙂 The only book on this list I’ve already read is ‘Reaching for Sun,’ which I liked. I also want to read ‘Hunger,’ ‘Laughing at My Nightmare,’ and ‘Beauty Queens.’
