This week

On my way to work

My mum turned on the radio

And the song

I Believe I Can I Fly came on

And I couldn’t help it

But to sing the words to it

The sound that came up

Was close to the voice

I dreamt about for years

Which made me happy

Even if I’m still

Tone-deaf

I can sing karaoke to pop-punk bands like Less Than Jake, Fall Out Boy, and sadly early Justin Bieber. Some boy bands, too. Sadly, not the type of music I usually listen to. 😂
