The Cake Flavored Book Tag!

Musings of a Literary Wanderer: Cake Flavored Books Tag
Image from Google

My friend Leslie from Books Are The New Black twitted asking who wants to be tagged to do cake flavoured book tag. I said, why not and then she told me to go ahead. As a matter of fact, her blog was among the first that I started to follow!

The Rules:

  • As I said before, I was tagged by Leslie from  Books Are The New Black so, don’t forget to go check her blog out.
  • I’m not sure who the original creator is.
  • Answer the prompts
  • Tag whoever you want!

The Questions:

CHOCOLATE — a dark book that you loved

Don't Go Stealing My Heart (Showmen, #2)

It’s not the darkest book I ever read, but it sure has darker undertones.

VANILLA —  favorite light read

Coco Pinchard's Big Fat Tipsy Wedding (Coco Pinchard, #2)

It’s written in emails between all the characters and a light, fun read that piques your interest!

RED VELVET — a book that gave you mixed emotions.

These Violent Delights (These Violent Delights, #1)

One second I loved the next I didn’t get the hyper, and I won’t lie, buddy reading it with Donna made it more enjoyable. Being able to see the book from her point of view was fun.

CHEESECAKE — a book that you’d recommend to everyone

Penguin Bloom: The Odd Little Bird Who Saved a Family

I recently read it, and it made me reflect on how I’m living my life.  I can’t wait to watch the movie based on this book.

COFFEE — a book that you started but never finished.

Legend (Legend, #1)

I already tried to read it twice, but I couldn’t get my mind into this world-building, so I’m putting it on hold for now.

CARROT — a book with great writing

The Death of Vivek Oji

It not only has beautiful writing but the meaning behind the words are powerful.

Tagging:

Tanya from Indie Book Maven

I honestly don’t know who to tag. I did text some people to see if they want to do it, so I will tag them if they say they want to do it.

  1. There are some really great books here! I still need to read ‘These Violent Delights,’ that one has been giving me mixed emotions, too. 😅
Fantastic job, thanks for sharing, and I’m definitely going to be doing this tag!
