My friend Leslie from Books Are The New Black twitted asking who wants to be tagged to do cake flavoured book tag. I said, why not and then she told me to go ahead. As a matter of fact, her blog was among the first that I started to follow!

CHOCOLATE — a dark book that you loved

It’s not the darkest book I ever read, but it sure has darker undertones.

VANILLA —  favorite light read

It’s written in emails between all the characters and a light, fun read that piques your interest!

RED VELVET — a book that gave you mixed emotions.

One second I loved the next I didn’t get the hyper, and I won’t lie, buddy reading it with Donna made it more enjoyable. Being able to see the book from her point of view was fun.

CHEESECAKE — a book that you’d recommend to everyone

I recently read it, and it made me reflect on how I’m living my life.  I can’t wait to watch the movie based on this book.

COFFEE — a book that you started but never finished.

I already tried to read it twice, but I couldn’t get my mind into this world-building, so I’m putting it on hold for now.

CARROT — a book with great writing

It not only has beautiful writing but the meaning behind the words are powerful.
