March 16: Books On My Spring 2021 TBR

Let me share a secret with you, I chose this TBR on the spot. Yep, you heard me right. I just opened my kindle. Saw covers or titles that caught my eye, and I want to give them a read. Hopefully, this carefree style doesn’t bother. I’m feeling a bit of a slump, hoping that the books I picked will help me out of it.

Content (Content Comedy Extravaganza, #1)
New Orleans Rush (Showmen, #1)

I try to pick novels that lighter and don’t need much thought when reading because of my slump. NEW ORLEANS RUSH is praised by Helen Hoang, the author of The Kiss Quotient.

Manhattan Cinderella: A romantic comedy (Fairy Tales in New York Book 1)

One of the tropes I look for is Cinderella retelling. Plus, Kate O’Keeffe’s writing cheers me, and I need some cheering right now.

Stuck Landing: A Bluewater Bay Story

In every TBR I do, I always try to add an LGBT+ book. This is a bonus since it is a 2021 release, and I was lucky because I grabbed it when it was free.

Opposites Attract

If I’m not mistaken, I saw some book tours blogs about this book, and when I saw it on BookBub for free, so I picked it up.

Music Man (Romance in Rehoboth, #1)
Flirtasaurus (Natural History, #1)

They both look like an excellent choice for a night in and a cup of coffee beside you.

The Baronet's Wedding Engagement (Royal Wedding Invitations, #2)

For some reason, this book is giving me The Royal Treatment by Melanie Summers vibes.

Turn the Paige (Love Hurts, #1)

I titled the novel I have been trying to finish Turning Paige, so when I saw this book Turn the Paige, I knew I had to read it.

Altar of Resistance (World War Two Trilogy #2)

I like to give myself a challenge, so I’m putting the thickest book on my Goodreads TBR in this list.

  1. Ok, not gonna lie… Altar of Resistance looks like something I’d read.

Have you read the book “Sissy” by Jacob Tobias? I’m working through it right now and thought of you. It’s about a nonbinary person from North Carolina (now you know what instantly got me to read it).
