Blogmas Day 29 Top Ten Tuesday/ Favourite 2020 Releases

Top Ten Tuesday

Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by thatartsyreadergirl with a new topic every week.

December 29: Favorite Books of 2020

So, this year I added a shelf on Goodreads of 2020 releases just so I can keep track of how many I read. I read 67 books that were released this year (I might have missed a few). Trying to put them in order in which I read them.

Don't Read the Comments

The first I read and liked was Don’t Read the Comments by Eric Smith because it doesn’t sugar-coat what can happen when having an online platform.

Self Made: Inspired by the Life of Madam C.J. Walker

In my opinion, this book wasn’t well-written in fact I gave it just two stars. You might be asking why is it in the top ten book releases list? I read it right after I watched the series on Netflix and I think the series and the book go well together

Finding Tranquility: A Love Story

It deals with a trans character, and I love it not only to the point I reviewed it, but I went the extra mile to message a thank you to the author.

It's Not All Downhill from Here

It touched me deep.

Good Boy: My Life in Seven Dogs

It’s the first trans autobiography I read this year, and it hits you in the feels.

No More Bad Dates (High Tea, #1)

It made me laugh out loud, and that’s rare for me.

Boy Queen

All I want to say about this one is I want more drag queen books in my life.

Burn Our Bodies Down

I like Burn Our Bodies Down by Rory Power for its uniqueness.

Under Shifting Stars

As I said in my review which you can see here, I loved it.

The Truth Project

In my opinion, it’s the best novel in verse I read in 2020.

  1. Hey Alex, I am writing a storybook compilation. Would you be able to review my manuscript? An honest review on what worked and what not…I am planning to use the review in the book. And of course, work on the suggestions.
