Of an evil breed
In the media
However, that image
Is nothing but a lie
If you treat them
With love and affection
They gave you that
And much more back
How do I know?
I have two pit mix

My mom had a pit mix who was the goofiest dog I ever met. He just wanted to love us all to death.

I admit I’m nervous around pit bulls. that’s me. But what i like about your poem is that it goes further I think…what we fear we don’t understand or choose not to…racism, hatred…The way things are sold to us is how we embrace that truth…
