Top Five Wednesday/ Best Friends

It used to by hosted Sam @ Thoughts on Tomes and Lainey @ gingerreadslainey. Now it is being hosted by Gabriela  @Violet Hawthorne so go check her out!

This Week’s Prompt:

July 29th: Best Friendships
These are the companionships that just worked so well or added so much value to the plot, it’s character dynamics that worked well together. We love a good friendship. Also, you could do this from the perspective of the characters themselves, or how the friendship evolved during their storyline.

Anna and the French Kiss (Anna and the French Kiss, #1)

I pick Anna and the French Kiss because the friend group is the only thing I like. Due to the hype around this series, I gave it 5 stars back then but thinking about it now it’s more like 3 stars for me.

The Kite Runner

The two boys were ready to die for each other, they were more like brothers than friends. I want to re-read The Kite Runner since years have passed from the first time, but I don’t think I can handle how graphic it is.

The Help

The Help teaches a vital life lesson that the bond of friendships can overcome any hardship or racism.

Georgia

Georgia is another hard read, but in this book, we read about a raw and real friendship that Georgia has with her band mates. As a reader, it pulled me in.

3:AM Kisses (3:AM Kisses, #1)

Beya and Roxy are a duo that is to die for.
