June 4: Books From My Favorite Genre (You pick the genre, and give us your ten faves.) I think I’m going to stick with historical fiction today.
The Secret Life of Bees by Sue Monk KiddDaisy Jones & The Six by Taylor Jenkins ReidThe Tattooist of Auschwitz (The Tattooist of Auschwitz #1) by Heather MorrisBefore the Poison by Peter RobinsonThe Song of the Jade Lily: A Novel by Kirsty ManningThe Night Tiger by Yangsze ChooThe Heart’s Invisible Furies by John BoyneCode Name: Lise. The True Story of the Woman Who Became WWII’s Most Highly Decorated Spy by Larry LoftisOlivia Twist by Lorie LangdonThe War Outside by Monica Hesse
I tried to get a variety of books in this genre, from World War II to crime to culture.
You’ve got some great picks here! I’ve heard mixed reviews about The Tattooist of Auschwitz, but I’m looking forward to picking it up. And I should be reading The Night Tiger this summer, so I’m so glad to hear you enjoyed it!
Good list! Mine is also historical fiction.
