April 2: Things That Make Me Pick Up a Book
- The cover, if a cover catches my eyes, that’s the first score right there.
- The genre of the book.
- The description of the book.
- If I read or heard about the author before.
- Goodreads ratings and reviews.
- What are book bloggers and booktubers saying about the book?
- My friend’s options.
- When I want to a movie which is based on a book, I always want to read the book first.
- Depends on my mood that day.
- Does it fit with any challenges when reading for a readathon?

The book cover is usually where I start, too, unless it’s been recommended by fellow bloggers or friends. Sometimes I go out of my way to read books that others say are really good. :3 Great post!

Book bloggers are so important. I’m glad you’re giving them/us a shout out.

Completely agree with you on a lot of these! Especially about the covers. Swoon. Great list.
