My Thoughts On ‘Rethinking Normal: A Memoir in Transition by Katie Rain Hill’

My first thought was how brave Katie is to even say her birth name. To have Katie opening up about intimate things like sex and bottom dysphoria gives me the courage to open up with my trans team about how I’m really feeling. This book reinforces the thought in my mind that hormones or surgery won’t make more or less of a man, because I’m already a man just have a body that doesn’t match. Like Katie, I suffer from depression and no therapist or psychiatrist figured what’s on with me. Katie is a beautiful, talented and strong woman. I gave this book five out of five stars.
