Kate goes back home after a long time because her grandmother passed away and that brings me to my thought of this book, which is roots never die no matter how much you try and run from them and yes like in real Kate has she reasons why she wants to run away. Something that I really like is the friendship between the siblings and hope Kate did everything she could to protect and bring her family first in her life. We meet Marc and we get a view of Marc’s family and how they didn’t care who they hurt because they are rich and they can do anything they want. On the other hand, we get an insight on how the relationships in the family aren’t what they want the outside world to believe. I gave this book 4 stars out of 5.
